Why would something non-sexual that you find in Tom & Jerry episodes be automatically suggestive when the guidelines say nothing about that?
Also, this doesn’t seem to match how things are currently mostly rated (mostly…there’s some clearly-misrated images as well, some of which I asked about in this very thread), nor would it help at all for images that seem innocent, but are full of gross detail…

Sup! Yeah! it’s one of those things that really have many variants.

If Vore is depicted as a fetish then it does fall under Questionable since → Questionable kinks.

Vore depicted as accidental, or just cartoony/fun without any sexual connotation it is suggestive.

Vore cannot be rated Safe.

Grimdark is exclusive to artwork depicting excessive suffering by the one being eaten, your example would not fall under it.

It’s either cry for help, pain, actual graphical digestion with blood and all that involved.

Keep in mind: A detailed pile of waste/feces from a vore outcome can fall under Grotesque.

I want to ask about how vore relates to the different sexual rating tags. The tag guidelines are completely silent on the matter, and as for praxis, I have seen vore artworks get rated with everything from safe to suggestive and even questionable, even where said artworks only show vore without any sexual indecency. This leaves me with no idea on what rating I should give to prospective vore uploads. I certainly feel that questionable is too harsh for pure vore, but then again, praxis has not always been on my side. I came here to see if vore had already been discussed, but the only relevant post never got any answers from site staff (see here).

The only mention of vore in the tag guidelines is in relation to the grimdark rating, which is reached if an artwork features visible lethal digestion. What counts as “visible” in this case? Should >>194456 get a grimdark rating as it features lethal digestion, or would there have to be an internal view as well for it to count as “visible”?

Should images of burn scars (like >>316802 (deleted), >>301101 (deleted), and >>312065 (deleted)) be rated as grimdark?

Because some are sensitive to heavy scars, considering them scary, but some of the images on Derpi aren’t tagged with grimdark or semi-grimdark, and the first image on Furbooru with the burn scar tag (>>2078) is also not tagged with grimdark. But I saw that >>84043 is rated with grimdark because of the burn scar, so I don’t know if images of burn scars need to be rated as grimdark, or there is a problem rating burn scar images as grimdark.

It really depends on how graphical it gets, the description of Grotesque mentions body horror in general and not necessarily the tag… if you believe an image warrants body horror tag but it’s ‘harmless’ enough there isn’t a problem in rating it as safe.

Should this be rated as safe or grotesque? Because on that tag, it says this:

But some of the images that are tagged with body horror are rated as safe.
Not to mention that this doesn’t look too creepy, but it also contains body horror at the same time.

NSFW, this is more on Derpibooru more than Furbooru.
How is 2642300 on Derpibooru even close to being tagged as rape? Venus Spring may be crying, but those are tears of pleasure, not tears of rape. She’s even smiling and moaning in pleasure too so why should it be labeled as something that’s the complete opposite of what’s really happening?

It really depends on how graphically it gets I’d say, blood on itself isn’t enough to warrant grimdark/grotesque ratings, it’s more about how it is presented.

Excesses would lead to higher ratings, naturally.

Should images containing chunky period blood be tagged grotesque because it could be considered extreme filth? Grimdark/semi-grimdark because it’s blood, or just a normal questionable or explicit tag for genital fluids?

I’m not staff, but I suspect that was a bad call given the text in Explicit about genital rubbing not excepting when there’s clothing between.

I figured that this was Explicit rather than Suggestive due to the tentacle rubbing against the covered vulva. Was that a good call?

That would be safe, topic alone doesn’t warrant grimdark rating only if what is shown fully fulfills one of the grimdark rating criteria, cheers!
