That said, should unicorn and pegasus imply pony? you can have non mlp pegasai and unicorns. Or are we using pony for ‘horse’ in general?

It was set up like that because most of unicorns and pegasi are from MLP, that’s the only reason. Personally I don’t like it, but that how it was decided. The tag “pony” should be manually deleted from art which is not related to MLP.

I see…well ok then I guess. I think that’s an odd implication choice for a furry website, but w/e. Something something erasing non-pony unicorns and pegasai.

Those are not species tags but form tags. If they ever need their own color I think it shoud be different from the one for species.
