The Niraya Complex [NSFW, GORE]

You wake up, finding yourself floating within a pitch black void. You can’t see, hear, or even move. Then, you hear a low pulsing hum, from ‘above’… your senses are beginning to return: You’re laying down with your back on a cold metal table, and can feel cool air drafting gently over you. Then, you notice something else.
 
Breathing in, you smell something off about the air. It smells… heavy, and metallic… it smells like blood.
 
After about a minute or so, every feeling in your body returns completely. You can finally move.
 
Opening your eyes, the first thing noticed is that above you, aside from a beaming florescent light, is a large and circular closed hatch. From the hatch’s seams, long dried strings with a deep red color trail down, fluttering slightly with the room’s airflow…
 
Eventually turning your head away from the strange hatch, to one side then the other, you’re greeted by padded wall-tiles, and, surrounding you, a host of medical equipment built into oblong frames for rolling around. Looking down at yourself, you see that you’re wearing clean patient scrubs… You’ve only been awake for a few moments, yet everything so far seems so dreamlike.
 
It feels unnatural. It feels alien…
 
But you can’t just lie down forever. Besides, while looking down, you also see an open doorway to a passing hallway.

Beneath the humming noise droning down from the ceiling airducts, the telltale sign of bare footsteps, given the unmistakable sound of claws tapping the floor, can be heard distantly echoing down somewhere over in the hallway. Someone is out there.

To the left, the well-lit hallway stretches down to four other doors on both sides, most of which are closed. Turning right, Nyanta spots a brief faraway glimpse of someone’s tail disappearing around a corner…
 
Down that way, besides the other flanking doors, the hallway seems to open to a larger chamber, where at the very end is a large opaque window that glows brightly… the floor over there also seems to sink down to some sort of pit.

Lillith slowly pokes his head out the door, trying to calm his nerves about waking in such a place to begin with.

Lillith sees much of the same view as Nyanta, but neither see one another.
 
The distant claw-tapping down the way ceases, leaving the place in usual ambient…
 
While the cell you’ve awoken in and the sterile-tiled hallway itself seem cold and dreary beneath the white-blue florescents, down the hall in the larger room the mysterious stranger is in, it almost appears as if more comfortably vibrant and lit, beneath warmer colors.

making sure to be quite he will sneak close to the door of the big room to have a look inside and a better view of the stranger

Around the right corner where the stranger had disappeared, Lillith sees yet another room off to the side, connected to this larger one. Someone over in there is making a quiet commotion out of random glass, ceramic, or metal… Whoever that is may be attempting to be cautious and stealthy as well, but doing so terribly.
 
Though not seen in detail, the large open chamber stood before seems almost like a lounge of sorts; where the floor sinks in appears to be an inlaid sofa. The opaque windows meanwhile by now turn transparent, slowly revealing the outside to be filled with foliage.

Lillith will move in a little closer to see the cautious person in more detail and try and see what they’re messing with, as well as try to keep an eye over his shoulder.

Behind Lillith, nothing seems to’ve sneaked up on him so far.
 
Before him, a lady-raven is seen, rifling through shelves, cabinets, and drawers for various items. Watching her, she places a few scalpel handles, a pack of replaceable blades, tweezers, and cotton string into a stretch of cloth lain on a table, wraps the cloth into a roll, then fits it into a bottle to then pocket into her clothes, speaking of which, seem to be made up of several patient-gowns sown together, into a sort of jumpsuit hugging tightly around her legs and body; her winged arms and tail however are left bare with the feathers extended.
 
Is she planning to leave?
 
Suddenly, she stops cold, but then slowly continues gathering items again…

if there was a door to hide behind on the way into the big room he’d hide behind that and wait for them to leave. If Not, then he will quietly leave the room as continue past the large chamber.

The raven soon exits the room she’s been searching through, looking around with a fearful expression, and with a scalpel tensely gripped in her right hand. She fails to see Lillith behind the door however, then sighs in relief, dropping the scalpel unto a coffee table, then letting herself fall unto the sofa inlaid into the floor.

Once she leaves, Lillith will go into the other room where she was and look for a weapon. Whether it be a scalpel or a kitchen knife.

Passing her by on the sofa, she seems to’ve fallen fast asleep, though with the scalpel she’d held kept within a moment’s reach of herself.
 
The storage room she’d raided is still filled with various things; plenty of extra scalpel handles and blades, medical headlamps, empty decanters and bottles, a few ampules of clean water, liquid tube-fed food, a box-full of beakers labeled “pure” alcohol, and even a few portable hot-plates.

Lillith sneaks over to the table to pick up the scalpel. Then sneaks over till he’s able to hold the scalpel to the neck of the raven. Then says. “Keep quiet and I won’t think about killing you.”

Slowly, then very quickly awakening, the raven’s breath trembles as she quietly gasps, tears welling in her eyes.
