Stepping through the threshold by herself, the glass silently closes back up behind the raven before she can step back in, and can’t be opened again from either side; her attempts to only brings up a small holographic tab, displaying a lengthy time limit of when the door can be reopened again. Noticing she’s just now been isolated, without saying a word she concernedly taps against the window.

xue was suddenly grabbed by a massive black arm and lifted up, another coming out of nowhere and declothing her as a giant black frilled head poked out of the brush, maw wide open. It was only a few seconds but xue was gone, swallowed whole by whatever that thing was
 
the beast receded into the foliage right after

the creature was nowhere to be seen, and with the lights evidently turning off outside it may be leaving, though the muffled screaming and crying said it was still nearby
