As the front-door from the group’s sanctuary might not be a viable option to explore from, and one tunnel leads to a dead end, that leaves one more route possibly beneath the other uninvestigated tile.

Lillith still very scared still sticks to Nyanta like glue and not letting go of his hand. With sniffles and quiet half sobs coming from him still as he tries to get a hold of himself. “Y-yeah,_sniff lets go.” He says as they go to the passage that Imos is opening

This spacious tunnel seems to lack the stench of the other one, but requires the lounge’s headlamps to be able to see anything beyond near the entrance. Judging by how long it takes for echoes to reverberate back, this route might go on for quite a while… and unless the turns chosen on splitting pathways are carefully remembered, the group may lose way back to their only known safe haven.
 
If they move on, they should be prepared, and always alert.

Besides the echoing drips of leaking pipes, whirring metallic noises are occasionally heard…
 
There may be active machinery somewhere down there.

But it would be safe to have a backup plan no?

Soon, the ambient speakers can be heard again, playing the sounds of the forest past the window. Stepping down the tunnel at some distance, this ‘natural’ noise heard apart from the mechanical one may help guide the group back to their haven.

Over in the other tunnel where the cadaver is laying, a series of boney cracks echoes out of the unsealed hatch.

As the lizard heaves the tile back into place over the shorter tunnel entrance, the others notice a blue pigmentation appearing on Imos’s hands that wasn’t there at first… he did touch a cadaver recently.
