Hm, yes. I just know this site specifically bars speech that promotes hatred and/or discrimination in regards to uploaded content, so I was curious about the fetish content I indulge in, some of which contain slut-shaming and sex/gender-based demeaning language such as “bitch” or “sissy.”

Fiction is not reality. For example, a character telling another character to die in a murder mystery is not a real world crime.
 
But you telling someone else on the site that they should die or that you wanted to murder them would break Rule #0.
 
In the same way, abusive relationships are something that artists explore in their art, sometimes for catharsis, sometimes to communicate, sometimes to entertain or as a part of a fetish. For example, I did an entire comic series to communicate with an abusive partner, and the one being abused was me. But because I expressed it allegorically through the fiction of the comic, it would not break Rule #0. But if that partner had a profile and were verbally abusive to me on the site it very well might have broken Rule #0.

Derpi has the same rule, word for word, so I highly doubt this rule is referring to image content.

Hello all! So I’ve been reading the rules and I curious about how this part of Rule #0 would be interpreted:
 

 
So the obvious interpretation of this rule is to not call other users slurs in comments or make image posts calling other users/groups slurs/demeaning names. Some questions: What about fetish content where one character is calling another character mean names, and what about fetish content with no slurs/demeaning names, but it contains abuse? And what about consensual degradation? And what about non-fetish content that depicts abuse, such as a parent emotionally/physically abusing their child?
