Yeah, that was kind of my intention to begin with: to keep a foot in both fandoms.
I was kind of hoping for some creative answers to the second part, though. Thereβs no cool initiation ritual or anything?

Dear DerpiFurbooru mods,
I have been considering upgrading to the furry fandom for some time now, but I am afraid of commitment.
What are the requirements for joining the furry fandom? I have heard people say that all you need to do to become a furry is to just declare yourself to be a furry, but is that really true? If so, what would stop someone from just coming in, saying βIβm a furry,β and then not actually doing anything furry-related?
If I join, is there a certain quota of furry-related content I must consume every month so that my βfurry cardβ doesnβt get revoked? Do I need to create a fursona? Is there an initiation ritual? What sorts of obligations do I take on if I join this fandom?
