I’m 33, fat, and I have serious anxiety plus autism that makes me unable to properly read social cues and what is and isn’t appropriate, leading to people tending to think I’m doing something bad on purpose instead of making a mistake/misunderstanding, and a tendency to avoid dealing with conflict so when someone confronts me on something they think I did on purpose I just withdraw because I’m too scared to react so they assume that means I acknowledged it as bad and think less of me as a result.
