Alright, I guess I’ll take your advice and just exist, then.
Yeah, that was kind of my intention to begin with: to keep a foot in both fandoms.
I was kind of hoping for some creative answers to the second part, though. There’s no cool initiation ritual or anything?

Dear DerpiFurbooru mods,
I have been considering upgrading to the furry fandom for some time now, but I am afraid of commitment.
What are the requirements for joining the furry fandom? I have heard people say that all you need to do to become a furry is to just declare yourself to be a furry, but is that really true? If so, what would stop someone from just coming in, saying “I’m a furry,” and then not actually doing anything furry-related?
If I join, is there a certain quota of furry-related content I must consume every month so that my ‘furry card’ doesn’t get revoked? Do I need to create a fursona? Is there an initiation ritual? What sorts of obligations do I take on if I join this fandom?

Tags, a few times. Other stuff not really, as there’s a modal that asks for confirmation for most staff-only actions.

I mean, there’ve been mistakes in IDing a culprit and the like, but not accidental button presses for the most serious stuff.

How many times have you goofed accidentally in mod duty? (Stuff such as accidentally deleting an image or tagging it erroneously or banning an innocent D:)

Im not a big anime person myself, and being on a furry site it kinda made me go “huh? Wtf.” Mind you i have an extremely large set of hidden tags so i may not be seeing a steady flow of it.
