Opening a front-hatch around his head to more easily see his surroundings, he begins browsing throughout the lab cautiously, seeing some of the projects stashed away within here;
 
A series of vats filled with an ochre liquid, with overhanging racks holding skeletal machinebodies…
 
A tesla-cannonlike device, but with a hollowed-out barrel containing induction coils within it…
 
An oscillator, visibly smashed with a sledgehammer next to it…
 
And something of a cross between a rocket and marionette string-cables, connected to the rockets by interior-spools, this project likely the precursor to the atmotic ‘shrike’ torpedo launcher he wields upon the shoulder of his suit.
 
Passing all of this over though, he looks quickly for any sign of the power source’s presence; likely cables fed throughout the place, or perhaps tesla-coils and aetheric lamps wirelessly conducting current from one to the other…

he found all that and more, magic that had coalesced enough to be visible was lazily floating further in, the core was still very much running.

Stowing his torpedo-launcher unto his back, he approaches the holding chamber slowly, closing his visor back down, then preparing the faraday harness for containment, with a small pincer-like device doubling as a lid clutched within his suit’s hand.

as he enters he finds the crystal alright, a faraday harness containing the crackling gem, as magic, or magicules to make the statement less broad, seeped through the harness’ cracks and entered the gem while energy pulsed into the cage and visibly powered up the complex.

most of these prisoners seemed just fine with hanging around the city, though some were keeping busy with menial tasks.
 
a few floranim patrolmen waved him through to yggdrasil, it was time to report to greenleaf.

the plan was simple, once near the border they’d take down their guards, the imps would have to be taken out for real, but that wasn’t really a problem while the gates of hell were open. they needed to die there in order to actually be dead.

Nyanta I was able to convince them as I have told them we are willing to aid them if they call.
 
The time for the past is behind us. Whatever misdeeds have been made we MUST make up for them.and move on. On my honour I have told them the plant life and the catfolk are friends.

it had looked real to the other prisoners when the still somewhat etched Tigris Snapped his chains and brutalized the nearest imp, then eudora swung her cuffs around her legs and used them to strangle another, imps did not do well up close already and before they had their fireballs conjured it was already too late for them, the entire prisoner group mad for the border as fast as they could.
