outside in the violent and dark storm the ones manning the rover could see a figure walking with a large shotgun on its back and a large cloak over its shoulders and head

Two guards stationed behind the buggy’s ALON canopy immediately stir at the sight, grabbing an intercomm to speak through the storm to the figure. Floodlights then turn on, piercing through the storm and somewhat illuminating the stranger.
 
On intercomm: “…Hello? We’re a caravan that took shelter in the cave behind us from this storm… if this is your home, please allow us a few moments of precious time to vacate the premises.”

“Well…not quite, but you can tag along…just stay back in case we have to run.”

a very mechanical voice responded, simply telling them to make a path, and to stay out of its way

“Yessir, er, ma’am, ehm, We’ll move immediately.” In moments, the buggy’s wheels churn into the sand, moving the vehicle aside. The two guards then exit the buggy out from the back, awaiting near the cave entrance, but well-out of the stranger’s way.

Val’s voice, echoing down the cave to the two; “Benko, Nyanta?! The cave’s owner’s here! Get back over to the campsite pronto!”

He’ll jump with a start. “O-okay! C’mon!” He pushes the loper back and gets moving- quickly- back to the campsite.

heavy thumps shook the floor as the stranger walked in, its metallic body showing many signs of long exposure to the elements and battle.
 
it seemed to be an autonomous mech, though also seeming alive
 
as it came by it flashed a glance at the smaller beings, massive clawed fingers gently hanging at its sides

Picking up the pace upon seeing the stranger watching them, the caravan deconstruct the camp down speedily, placing everything as fast as they can unto the by now mostly-charged lopers awaiting within their charging pens.
 
A guard, fumbling in behind the automaton: “Uh… As we’ve said, we’d taken shelter here due to the storm out there. We have no intention of interfering with your belongings further with the cave, or staying here any longer.”

The loper turns, crawling back out of the storage space, before scooping up the rat, cat, and even the doge, then galloping back quickly, and even in the process reeling the superdense cable unto a spool behind itself.

the cloak is promptly unwrapped from the now quite vicious looking bot, its dreadlocks dangling all around its neck as it stops and turns to look
 
You may stay. The storm is too dangerous for you fleshy ones.

Every one of the caravanserai within earshot soon stops in their tracks, then look to the quartermaster.
 
The Quartermaster: “Uhm… as long as you permit it, I suppose… everyone, stop the disassembly, put it together again, and get that buggy to seal the entrance back up, there’s sand pouring in.”
 
He begins walking briskly toward where the cave goes deeper, toward where the rat, cat, dog, and loper are.
 
Turning; “…And stay at the campsite; we definitely don’t want to upset the host!”

large footsteps (20 second mark, heavy footsteps) rumble the cave floor as the beastly looking bot moved deeper inside, shoving aside a large stone that allowed it access to the afformentioned rooms

Seeing the stranger pass, Val holds an open hand out toward the two to hold fire… in moments, the quartermaster catches up.
 
The quartermaster, huffing and puffing to catch his breath: “You three… it says we can all stay to wait out the storm, though we shouldn’t be rifling through its belongings any longer…”

“…Shiieeeet, alrighty. Anyways…I told you I’d bring this back with the same number of rounds. Safe and sound. Speaking of safe…I’ll trade this for that shotgun, ye?” He offers the boollette dispenser.

kitty is still kinda confused Is there anything I can do to help or am I just…Does anyone wish to hear stories. or a song?

Val: “…oh ye-” He says, having forgot the rat’s shotgun kept slung unto his own shoulder for safe-keeping.
 
Slinging it forth around an arm, he exchanges it to Benko much the same way he’d done.

his ear flicks and he smiles out laughing of courese but that man doesnt scare me all to much, the hell I saw down there nothing will ever compare.
 
he claps and smiles, looking around for an instrument or something to play music for him to sing too

Arriving back at the campground nearly put completely back together again, Val leads Nyanta to a heat-coil (cuz the desert gets cold by nite) placed where the camp’s center is situated at, ringed by seated tired technicians and caravan guards eating from preserved food packages. Val then hands the cat a guitar, while near the cave entrance resealed by the buggy, the quartermaster can be seen walking with Anna down to the camp circle, ushering her to sit beside Nyanta.

the cat thinks to himself then sighs happily and begins to play the guitar in a nice soft chords (i was going ot pick the stalker music actually lol) and after a while he begins to sing in his native tounge, even for being catfolk it comes out smooth and delicate like. Anna, if she understands the catfolk, knows this is a story about adventure and excitment, the song starts to pick up as the chords become more exciting and full of life, the cat switches to english and also the song. To a simple bar song of laughter and joy he once read about

Smiling, Anna cocks an eyebrow at the lyrics, noticing a few of the words in catfolk language. Other felines around the camp, even those still busy with random tasks, notice the language as well, drawing their attention for the moment.
 
Anna: “…I think I may’ve understood some of that first song, though only up to a point. That language, do you speak it fluently?”

As the caravanserai applaud the cat’s performance, Anna seems puzzled, and a bit embarrassed.
 
“Ehm… I can only understand pidgin variations of it, but one of my aspirations is learning it. It’s difficult though to find the terminologies, and the proper grammar for it moreover. There’s just so few writings and recording I’ve encountered that speak it, but you do easily. Nyanta, could you, teach me, and the other felines in our group, how to speak and write catfolk?”

“…Didn’t know you knew how to play guitar…” Judging from the tone, the ratt was pleased to hear the music and learn this fact, even if he didn’t come sit by the fire. Benko removes his goggles and head coverings, revealing that he is, in fact, a ratt.
