“Nevermind quietly- how’d you get here so fast…? I saw you were talking with the others and…eh, nevermind. Just let me know when we’re ready to go- I’ll be ready.”

immediate evasive maneuvers were taken as the nose cannon fired, it flying towards and hitting the source of the beam with unreal amounts of force, crumpling the nose of the large craft and obliterating what used to be the weapons system that had fired upon the bot. Eviscerator easily able to make hairpin turns accelerated and engaged a dogfight with the other craft

Val: “That openness with the outside world however is what did them in. I saw the very person who detonated the nuke; some roughed-up military-men from Homey Lake all speaking some weird* cascading tone and noise for a language. The crazy thing is, I likely would’ve been able to escape alive from that scene, but after hearing that language for long enough, I’d started speaking it just as well, if not loquaciously. Guess dying and resurrecting cleared away whatever that was.”

The large hyperflier’s fuselage sheds in a few places where damaged, then shifts it’s mass around adjusting for the loss. Several weapon systems emerge in the lost one’s place, and before Eviscerator can react, while distracted by dogfighting the other craft far too nimble to gain a bead on, a straight homing bolt of lightning cracks across the sky in reply, impacting Ev and sending an intense burst of volts rippling through it’s body.
 
Instantly, the machine-person is shocked back into anthropomorphic form, plummeting down to earth with engines sputtered off.

once down ev begins firing its cannon and large superheated beam that had been produced from its arm. Said beam, upon contact with the fighters cut them clean apart, causing explosions in its wake (like a reapers beam)

Dispersed into long splinter-like pieces, the debris rains down, attempting and succeeding a few times at lancing through Ev, before all then silently exploding at once… as the dustclouds are blown aside, looking like one big mushroom-cloud drifting away, the ground revealed around Ev appears blackened and burnt… Looking at itself, Ev’s chest is now blown-open at the side. *
 
The larger hyperflier meanwhile retreats, likely to some launch bunker to repair itself.
 
Watching the escaping craft meet the horizon, strange, large spike-like protrusions are spotted marking most hills and peaks, and between them in the valleys a long trail of much-closer bunkers is seen, with people outside around one of the nearest where what appears to be flames is seen emerging at the top…

“Anyone can too if they’ve registered themselves with an engeneration license, but nowadays those’re extraordinarily hard to come by, and more often than not, they were horded away, while the license dispensaries destroyed by now… Guess someone out there wants to monopolize on immortality.”
 
Anna: “Our town makes alot of cheap exchanges in return for life extension services and medicine we provide as well, like telomerase doses, so it’s unlikely anyone tied to the region.”

Mr. Skittertail: “…So, who are these folks you’ve met?”; He says, referring to three drawings of Imos, Grimm, & Nyanta.

“The lizard is Imos- some kinda scientist or something, I didn’t really ask. The big thing is Grimm- it talks and I guess Imos made it. He rides on it like I do on lopers, but I’m& not gonna take that chance in case it feels hungry.”  
The rat leans on the porch, “the cat there is Nyanta- he sings well and made really good friends with Anna since they’re both cats. He talks to himself a lot too, though he says there’s a machine or something in his head named Midnight.
 
“They don’t seem like people I want to make mad. Imos can breathe fire, Nyanta has a really big gun, and Grimm…well…” He gestures to her beastly picture, as if her form said it all(and it rlly kinda do ’>__>)

deciding against persuing further ev turns around and transforms once more, the wounds steadily repairing themselves

“hmm, so lifenet is still running? i guess the business model of “make your maintenance guys immortal” does have merit. but why monopolize on it? the more other people can not permanently die the easier you can murder them multiple times.”
 
he shrugs the last part off, he had done that before, it was a messy story involving his significant other and a potato peeler.

Well that wonderfully helpful, but we know your 5 percent is wrong. he smiles softly and looks to Anna there is naother catfolk right there. he looks back out the window and thinks THe world certainly has changed…
 
Is it weird I kind of miss that Arena Fight thing?

he flips through the book which talks about life as a teen apperently i chuckles bonked my head pretty hard in a accident. At first I was scared of you it seems, waking up from after an accident then hearing a voice not of my own…..Im glad i have you, I hope you know that.
