Perhaps what needs to happen is that chimera species just get the chimera tag implied. Eg hippogryphs, gryphons, sphynxes and such, so that if someone is looking for pure species they can search ‘species, -chimera’?

Is there any intention on tagging species parts of various chimera species in cases where they are clearly influenced from a particular type.

I’m mostly thinking about gryphons here. I know mine is, for example, pretty clearly a peacock, but we have blue jay varieties, crows, and many other species influenced bird halves, and some even have pretty clear hind halves.

I think it would be useful to tag this, but I’m not sure how we would do so without infringing on the species tags themselves.

Default search

If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization, wings, and spread wings would all be found by a search for wing, but sewing would not be.
