But the point is that this happens because “morbidly obese” is ambiguous and it implies a level of realisticness (hence the “morbidly” moniker), but if you use “hyper fat”, then it easily clears up this confusion. “hyper” is already automatically added to posts labeled “morbidly obese”. Why not just further connect the two with “hyper fat”? Sure. You might have a few people who still overuse the tag “hyper fat” but I suspect that those people represent only a fraction of the people who overuse the tag “morbidly obese”

Wow that first one managed to get tagged with male/male despite being solo. I thought that problem got solved after gay was aliased into male/male and yet it still pops up from time to time. Impressive. hasvn’t seen that since I tagged there.

So one thing that’s confusing is the “morbidly obese” tag. Mostly because “morbidly obese” is a medical classification for a real life level of fat and it seems like here, it’s mostly applied to characters who are in the unrealistically fat range.

I think “hyper fat” would fill out this role much better without ambiguity. Not only that, but it has a nice symmetry with the other “hyper“ tags. It’s clear that it refers to unrealistic fat. It’s not like F-list where there’s nothing in between “chubby” and “hyper fat”. We already have “obese”, but “morbidly obese” sounds more like it’s straddling the line between hyper and obese

If you do not specify a field to search over, the search engine will search for posts with a body that is similar to the query's word stems. For example, posts containing the words winged humanization, wings, and spread wings would all be found by a search for wing, but sewing would not be.
