She blushes a little and smiles, taking the bottle. “Thank you, quartermaster. Can you make sure my things aren’t damaged?” She slides across her bow, arrows, and belt quiver, meanwhile taking a quick drink.
 
“Very good! You’ve scared these bastards well-enough I probably don’t even have to sing to ‘em,” he smirks, “so lets untie ‘em and get them to work. We run into any other ships and we’ll be whale meat. Besides…the ship won’t clean itself. Up and at ’em!”

He chuckles and pulls out a bottle of Honey Mead. “For the pretty cupid~.”
 
Parris giggles, “Right cap, alright you louts, save the powder.”

extortion was a societal truth though, the flag that waves around town denotes who gets the coins, the rat clan collected from here, before that the bears, before that the wolves, before that the rabbits, the tithe had always been split like that, except now the share that goes to the patron clan went to the bandits, the townsfolk felt nothing of the change, except new faces patrolling.

now this presented the question of turning him in, or finding new bounties. He was extorting the town, so that reduced her sympathy for him considerably

the crowd was happily on board with this, including sylas, it also loosened his tongue, onforming her that he had found a wyldstone and the king caught wind of it, the guard having razed his home and slaughtered his family, that’s why the king had to die.

It’s strange rlly, cuz I think someone I talked to from Romania a few days ago said he felt nearly the same way I do now, tho I think it was over that new ‘‘Hellraiser’’ thing he likes a whole lot. He says he casually plays music on harmonica and piano tho, as a hobby. I haven’t done much of anything at all artistically expressive to similar degrees within my lifetime. ^%>__>%

Anyone ever look at all the brilliant images they find (& maybe even privately collect) across the internet, but then stop & realize that, really, virtually none are sanctioned for any schmo to personally use on the open web, despite being so easy to copy/paste, save, &/or implement? %& then after doing a bit of research, find that the brilliant online artists who’ve done the strikingly beautiful works you’ve deeply enjoyed the most, by & large don’t even accept commissions, tho when seen joking about it, proclaim their prices would be in the +2k range… ^.__.%
 
For some odd reason I can’t explain now, I don’t think I can browse these philomena project sites, or look at any image anywhere else on the web ever the same way, tbh. I think, I want to try getting into making art myself, tho the fact that so many making what I like the most online are practically tenured young professionals with other talented hobbies as well (& that I think even know & speak to one another as their own private cliques) is perturbing.
 
No idea why, but this somehow reminds me of how Adam Reed described what inspired him to make the Archer TV series, when he was vacationing in Salamanca, Spain.
