behind the mountains laid the elder jungle, much denser, much more alive and bordering the badlands, it belonged not to the cats but to the snakes… and their rule had been challenged it seems.

he nods and unwraos the bandages the fire has been stopped for now. It is the nightmares that bring it. The tech. It spits and spreads fire he softly touchs his burn marks on his paw and arm they come to burn the forest and anything that dares draw breath

Lynx: “at first the nightmares came, a number of our clan left… and didn’t return. then the shouting started, the snakes use some old super golems that spit green fire or summon giant spears. they used both but apparently whatever they were fighting didn’t die fast… the nightmares got worse, our spiritists were ahrd at work keeping our people sane… the snakes didn’t do any better at all, i think they lsot and fell back… and then recently… it lessened, something has changed in the wind, more green fire is in the air, and ashes drift our way.”

this was basically him baring his throat, entrusting the cabal with their children.

You are not occupied, by any means. If you were, youd be in your private quarters, with cabalite guards replacing your own. No, we are an attack battalion, meant for doing things like this.
