I’m glad this site exists. Derpibooru has superior filtering system to the one on e621, where there is only one blacklist with no complex syntax, you can’t spoiler images and the blacklisted images are not actually excluded from the search results, so if you want to get 50 results for a page but 25 of those are on your blacklist you get only 25 images per page.
On the other hand on e621 there is more freedom with tags, you can assign their type (character, artist, species) and add descriptions yourself, without asking the mods to do it and I think this works well there.
Questions:
1)On e621 there is a rule of “tag what you see”, so if somebody’s character that is female is visible only partially in the image so that their gender can’t be determined its tagged with “ambiguous gender”. In the Furbooru rules there is stated, that:
Tags should describe the “facts” of the image, such as the characters inside the image, events happening, the image’s composition, and so on. Tags should not state opinions.
Does this mean it’s the same here?
2)Will we be tagging things like “blue eyes”, “orange fur”, “pink explicit_body_part_name_here” on Furbooru, like on e621?
And one more think, I thing this is very important:
3)Will murrsuit pictures and videos be allowed here? You know, real life porn but in fursuits. There are some irl porn pictures on Derpibooru, but “irl, human, explicit” brings only 309 results there. In the furry community I think that type of content is more prominent (I can guess that about as much new murrsuit content is created weekly, if not daily all those AD accounts on Twitter…, as is the total number of irl porn submission on Derpibooru), but it’s not present on e621 at all and maybe the creators of that site had a good reason for that?
