Shyanne: i think this actually bodes well for both nations. If the teslatics can overcome their dislike of the cabals customs a great empire could be formed, with lady grimm at its head.

in the following days, the story of the ecclesia became abundantly clear, that the machinists had aligned with the Cabal, it didn’t help the alliance that Stephan had originally been the driving force behind forming it.

Double, take these grenades, rally the eccelsia together, then throw them into the group. Each one has a kill radius of 40 feet. Be discreet about it, act as if you are hurt by it. In the chaos you can escape.
 
Oreo, grab stephan and lets get out of here.

hand me back those grenades and hold the door. I need to make a shaped charge to blow this wall.

the guards released the stag and made to grab their weapons, only for two bangs to ring out as they joined the priest in hell.
 
the crystal at the same time took on cracks.
 
Oreo: “hey, bambi, grab the gem and run with us or you find out exactly what they planned for you when they get their act together!”
 
the stag was quick to comply, as even with double trying to mitigate the noise heard the death of a head priest and the failing of a celestial trap gem were noticable.

she quietly approached as normal, and with a resounding CRACK the priests head was blown to pieces, blood spattering all around to the left of the priest, the right side of his head charred and blackened.

they reached the inner chamber where the priest was busily fussing over an altar, two ecclesiastic guards holding a stag down on his knees, more importantly however was the floating crystal above the altar, no doubt stephan’s current prison.
 
Oreo quietly slunk off to deal with the guards as needed, the priest was Shyanne’s.
 
Priest: “by the light’s sacred grace, let this spirit be bound, may he suffer mortality, and a thousand deaths for his treachery.”
 
it was up to shyanne how to approach this, when the priest croaked the guards would follow.

the Sharkette had fallen in step beside shyanne, she knew who she was after all, and now would be a good time to slip her the tool for the job. she had been unable to smuggle anything under the rags servants wore.

I see. I may be able to assist with the transition into a mortal shell. I think a fitting punishment for his sins would be to be sold as a slave, for backbreaking labor. And once used up, again.
 
she was already planning his release. If she could get oreo near the priest with one of her pistols it would be as simple as blowing his head off from the shadows. In the chaos whilst stephan is mortal bound they slipaway with oreo and him in tow, with all blame falling upon the mechanists, as the pistols were of their patented design

Double tensed up, she could feel, Lady Jinx was not going to like him being imprisoned on the mortal plane. it usually implied they were going to indulgently cram him into a mortal host which they would then let expire, usually nailed to a hard surface. rinse and repeat until the spirit was broken.
