In the Star Trek Universe, 2309’s vintage of Klingon bloodwine is considered the finest vintage to date, by the 2370s.
Reminds me: I’m not a drinker but I’ll take the occasional sip of something if offered (or do a bit of homebrew during the onset of a pandemic lol.) One day this older neighbor of mine tried this red wine worth over $1000 from a 1920s world’s fair that a friend gave to him. He said it wasn’t bad, but the look on his face said it wasn’t great either. Lol. I mean, he was fascinated by the experience, but I think there’s a certain way you have to keep old wine as it gets beyond like 50 years, otherwise the aging process starts making it get worse instead of better? I don’t think you can just leave it on a shelf at room temperature.
