If you can afford a mag full of micro homing missiles then you probably have more effective means of giving someone a new rectum…..like an attack helicopter.

Bullets became conical mini-balls cuz they squished against the interior of gunbarrels, creating a tighter to seal prevent the lit gunpowder from venting past while conveniently also actuating better against the interior rifling. The bullet won’t have to make contact with the barrel if it’s all magnetic induction, hence a coilgun, so it could probably be shaped as anything as long as it spins aerodynamically. The spin put in normal bullets just makes it drift off-ways in a ‘‘setted’’ direction. ^%:P%
 
wut I mean is, leik, a coilgun that can ‘reprogram’ which direction that drift goes for course correction, or even exaggerate it to make the bullet curve around corners.

Another idea that coincides practically with this is, leik,  
 
small micro-sized missiles, also kicked out of a coilgun, but so that the micro-missiles’ scramjets can ignite.

As far as curving bullets goes, you’d probably need spherical bullets to pull it off and a barrel with more resistance on one side to get the sideways spin necessary. That being said there are reasons we stopped using metal balls as bullets and such a barrel would likely be pretty useless at anything else.

counting and trying to remember stuff, like what Snake and Otacon were likely rambling about in the 1st MGS when they mentioned ‘‘stealthed warheads.’’ Also, the magnus effect applied to bullets.
