Second, your settings on DeviantArt won’t help you see images on Twitter that require you to be logged on.

Third, please stop spamming complaints on fanart just because a source doesn’t exist any more. There’s no reason for that kind of behavior, and we’ve repeatedly asked you to stop.

If a site requires you to log in to see the image, such as X.COM or Pixiv, that is not a valid reason to tag the image as having a ‘useless source url’ or spamming complaints about ‘dead sources’ on the images.

Please do not do that any more.

Agreed with that. I actually did upload an art a few months that actually had its deviantart account deactivated. So I guess I see it as a sort of philantropy to do this.

And of course like you said the best part of this site is looking at all the creative art especially in an easily viewable place like this. And I can even go back to as early as 2005 with the art.

Its sort of nostalgic for me looking at old art from 2008 I saw as a kid.

I don’t know what theme you’re using, but I don’t see any white tags. But maybe where you live and where I live “white” has a different Venn diagram, like blue does. Please give at least one example of what you’re asking about, ok?

Personally, I’m here because I like the art. But, I probably don’t understand your question so everything else I’m going to say might be 90° from what you were really asking.

The last time I looked through ‘dead source’ tags most of them were actually not dead they just required clicking past a verification or being logged into see the source. At that time, I only found one really dead source out of hundreds that I looked at. But I’ve seen that there are some folks who really report ‘dead sources’ a lot, so I do know that for some that’s a really important things.

I mean, if you mean that it’s great that artists are able to post their art here in case other sites disappear, then I’m a big fan of that and completely agree. And if people want to share their works here, or upload other people’s works, then I’m very happy to continue to help keep this site up and running as long as I can.

Because I’m here because I like the art. I’m a furry fan.

What is the category name for white tags?

Edit: Nevermind, I just got the name of the white tags.

Would you say one of Furbooru’s purposes as an archive for furry related images? Like there is so many old art as far back as early 2000s om this site and earlier. Some even have dead sources since we last put them up, showing we put them here just in time.

Does it take a while between approving a sponsor and their ad showing up on the site? If so, roughly how long?

That has never been forbidden.

If you switch away from the default filter and create a custom filter, then you are responsible for making sure you are legally permitted to view the content your custom filter shows in your jurisdiction.

Why would SFW filters be forbidden? Logically Furbooru wouldn’t offer custom SFW filters if they were forbidden for some weird reason.

The warning is worded the way it is because, like most websites, Furbooru reaches an international audience. Laws are different from region to region, so what may be legal to view in one country may be outright illegal in another. That clause is basically staring that its up to the user to determine if the content they choose to view through a custom filter is legal for them to do so. I believe the default SFW filter just tries to be as universally viewable as possible.

My interpretation is that the default filter is intended to block out potentially illegal material (what is considered illegal to begin with naturally depends on the jurisdiction, however). Anything stricter than the default filter should be 100% alright. I interpret that warning as only applying to users who create custom filters which are less restrictive than the default.

So, making custom SFW-only filters and using them is still forbidden?

Indeed, it is particularly egregious seeing as filters do nothing to affect advertisements.
