An electrode is an electrical conductor used to make contact with a nonmetallic part of a circuit (e.g. a semiconductor, an electrolyte, a vacuum or air). Electrodes are essential parts of batteries that can consist of a variety of materials depending on the type of battery.
There are at least three posts on Furbooru referring to the electrical conductor. >>99053 >>112577 >>115160
So instead of going forward with the alias, I have edited the electrode tag to remove the Pokémon-related implications and also edited the tags of the posts that refer to the Pokémon.

Should hisuian form be used the same way mega pokémon is? If so:
Sorry I don’t know much about Digimon, but the ones I paired together are the same I think and should be aliased. I’m not sure the direction of the alias, though. Apparently some are their English dubbed names but I don’t know if the original or dub is used for Digimon here.
armadimon / armadillomon -> digimon, fictional species
blackgatomon / black gatomon -> black digimon
