1. GENDERS
    
   • male - masculine character with a penis or cloaca/genital slit  
   • female - feminine character with a vagina or cloaca  
   • intersex - character that has any genitals not matching their body  
   •• intersex male - male character with a vagina, cuntboy  
   •• intersex female - female character with a penis, dickgirl  
   •• herm - use for both feminine and masculine characters with both a penis and a vagina (to search for only feminine herms use “herm, -male herm”)  
   •• maleherm - use for masculine characters with both a penis and a vagina
    
   • ambiguous gender - when the gender can’t be determined because the character is not visible entirely or because it’s a feral with no visible genitals or the species has no visible sexual dimorphism (unlike with peacocks or lions)

2. ORIENTATIONS
    
   Depictions of sexual or romantic situations between characters of same or different genders. Note that orientation tags are not mean to describe the sexual orientation of a character on a solo image. They should be used only when there is interaction between characters visible.

   • semi-anthro - when it is impossible to make a clear distinction between anthro and feral. Mainly in simplistic styles and some Pokemon. If a character is bipedal but they have animal like-body shape and don’t have hands but rather paws or hooves they might be semi-anthro.

   • ambiguous form - when the form can’t be determined because only part of a character is visible. If the entire character is visible and it still is not possible use semi-anthro.

4. FORM RELATIONSHIP
    
   Depictions of sexual or romantic situations between characters of same or different forms.
    
   Two types of tags exist:  

form A/form B

form A on form B
or
form B on form A

5. SPECIES
    
   Usually the species tags are constructed as shown below, but not all levels are always present (especially for fictional species, which are not in the real life classification).
    
   ○ highest level group for both fictional and real animals (mammal, bird, reptile)  
   ○○ high level group in the rank of order/suborder/family (dinosaur, canine, feline, rodent)  
   ○○○ genus (marten) or common name for species from different genera (fox, badger)  
   ○○○○ species (red fox, golden eagle, European badger)  
   and sometimes, if a species has them:  
   ○○○○○ breed or prominent color morph (husky, maine coon, silver fox)
    
   In case of the more popular species you should not be worried about all levels when tagging, the implications adding necessary tags should be already in place. For example:  
    
   When adding the tag husky to a picture there will be also “dog, canine, mammal” automatically added to that picture when the changes are applied because this tag implies those three other tags.
    
   There are no tags like “avian” or “scalie” in use (they are aliased to “bird” and “reptile” respectively). Fictional species should be tagged with what they are based on + fictional species.
    
   Examples:
    
   mammal -> canine -> fox -> red fox  
   mammal -> feline -> cat -> maine coon  
   reptile -> snake -> rattlesnake -> timber rattlesnake  
   bird + fictional species -> gryphon -> blue jay gryphon  
   reptile + fictional species -> dragon -> night fury

6. **CHARACTER COUNT (QUANTITY) **
    
   (Shorthands are given in brackets, they are aliases of the their main tag, all start with “q” for quantity)
    
   a) General type:  
   • solo (q1) - only one character  
   • duo (q2) - exactly two characters  
   • group (q4) - three or more characters  
   •• trio (q3) - exactly three characters  
   •• large group (q10) - ten or more characters
    
   b) Gender specific  
   • solo male (q1m) - only one character, male  
   • duo male (q2m) - exactly two characters, both male
    
   • solo female (q1f) - only one character, female  
   • duo female (q2f) - exactly two characters, both female
    
   • solo intersex male (q1im) - only one character, intersex male  
   • solo intersex female (q1if) - only one character, intersex female  
   • solo herm (q1h) - only one character, herm  
   • solo maleherm (q1mh) - only one character, maleherm
    
   c) Sexual context:  
   • group sex - sex involving more than two individuals.  
   •• threesome - exactly 3 characters having sex with each other.  
   •• foursome - exactly 4 characters having sex with each other.
    
   •• orgy
    
   d) Other
    
   • offscreen character - when there is a character that is not fully visible  
   •• faceless male / faceless female - when there is male or female character whose face is not visible or blank
    
   • ambient wildlife - when there are animals that are not important to the overall scene, e.g. birds flying in the distance

7. BODY PARTS
    
   a) The not safe ones
    
   • animal genitalia  
   •• canine penis / equine penis (knotted equine penis) / cervine penis / etc.  
   •• canine vulva / equine vulva / feline vulva / etc.  
   •• canine anus / equine anus / etc.

   • penis - male external reproductive organ  
   •• foreskin - loose part of skin that covers the end of a penis  
   ••• unretracted foreskin - foreskin covering entire penis head (glans)  
   ••• partially retracted foreskin - foreskin covering some part of the penis head (glans)  
   ••• retracted foreskin - foreskin not covering the glans at all  
   •• circumcised - penises that had their foreskin removed
    
   •• flaccid - penis that is not in the state of arousal  
   •• semi-erect - in between flaccid and erect  
   •• erection - when penis is firm, engorged, and enlarged  
   ••• flared - when the tip of equine penis is swollen up during arousal
    
   •• urethra - the orifice at the end of urinary tract  
   •• knot - spherical area of erectile tissue (like in canines)  
   •• barbed penis - penis with barbs (like in felines)  
   •• medial ring - ring on equine penis shaft
    
   •• multi penis - character that has more than one penis  
   ••• hemipenis - character with two penises with common base (found in e.g. reptiles)  
   ••• diphallism - character with two penises with separate bases
    
   •• prehensile penis - penis that can move a bit like a limb  
   •• tapering penis - if the shaft thickness gradually gets lower from base to tip
    
   •• glazed penis - penis covered in cum, precum, saliva, vaginal secretions or other sexual fluids.
    
   • vagina - part of female internal reproductive system located between vulva and cervix  
   •• cervix - located between between vagina and uterus  
   • uterus - located behind cervix
    
   • vulva - external female genitalia  
   •• clitoris - part of vulva  
   ••• clitoral hood - equivalent of a foreskin, covers the clitoral glans  
   •••• prehensile clitoral hood - when the clitoral hood is prehensile (like in sergals)  
   •• urethra - the orifice at the end of urinary tract
    
   • genital slit - sheath that is not sticking out outside of the body, can look like vulva if penis is not sticking out of it.
    
   • claspers - external male reproductive organ in some species of fish (e.g. sharks)
    
   • cloaca - common opening for digestive, urinary and genital tracts present both in males and females
    
   • anus - the very end of digestive system if it is a separate orifice.
    
   • taint - place between anus and balls
    
   • featureless crotch - crotch with no genitals depicted (SFW)
    
   • nipples - raised region of tissue on the surface of the breast, applies for both males and females
    
   • breasts - organs that form a prominence on the front of a female chest and contain the mammary glands  
   •• areola - the part of skin around a nipple  
   ••• big areola  
   ••• areola slip - when areola is visible but the nipple is covered  
   •• featureless breasts - breasts with no nipples and no aureola (SFW)
    
   •• cleavage - the place between breasts visible when they are partially covered

13. COLOR TAGS SHORTHANDS
     
    Shorter aliases for long color tags for body, background, fur, feathers and scales. They are composed from 4 letters, the first two for color name and the last two for the thing that is in this color.
     
    Colors:
     
    bk - black  
    bl - blue  
    br - brown  
    cr - cream  
    gn - green  
    gy - gray  
    mg - magenta  
    or - orange  
    pp - purple  
    pk - pink  
    rd - red  
    tl - teal  
    tn - tan  
    wh - white  
    yl - yellow
     
    tt - two toned ^{for body, fur and hair}  
    mc - multicolored ^{for body, fur and hair}
     
    Things that have that color:
     
    bd - body  
    bg - background  
    fr - fur  
    ft - feathers  
    sc - scales
     
    So for example instead of writing “yellow feathers” you can write “ylft” or instead of “orange fur” you can write “orfr” and because those tags are aliased they will be changed into the proper tag. Example: blsc

sideboob - when clothing or positioning reveal only the sides of breasts.

underboob - when clothing or other covering/hiding reveals the underside of breasts.

Generally not used on entirely topless characters unless the breasts are partially hidden.
