Behind Ana, the other suited person, also a cat, gathers the last of their equipment, then climbs up a ladder into the enormous buggy-like utility platform in the distance.
 
Ana: “Certainly, but as an apex predator, something’s got to keep her busy. What I’m trying to say is; with nothing naturally capable of keeping stalkers in check, they’re becoming an invasive species, scarfing down just about anything they can snap their jaws around, and it’s only a matter of time before they become determined people-eaters, as I suspect they were originally intended to. Do you think perhaps, when this is over… you could create two more of Grimm’s kind, of either gender, then release them out into the wild?”

Often wears nothing over its body, though if needed it can be found wearing a tattered cloak, the cloak surrounding its upper body and around its head. Said to be roughly 17 feet tall
 
Talents: capable of extreme brutality via its built in energy cannons or its massive claws. It can move quite quickly too. It posseses long whiplike weapons stored within its arms.  
Disadvantages: its size prevents it from entering smaller locations without force. Its temperment and violent tendancies tend to keep people away, and often results in people trying to kill it.

a technician, face hidden beneath sealed helmet, came striding over
 
Hate to break up the party but weve got a massive storm coming. (Like the storm from fury road) we need to seek shelter outside of this test city. Nearest cave that we could get to is 2 klicks east, and were still gonna get caught by the storm. Weve got to hurry.

Val: “Alright. Since we’re all ready and mounted, we’ll all travel together. Ana, trailblaze ahead of us.”
 
Ana: “Yessir.” The cat rushes back to the massive buggy-like utility platform in the distance, it’s wheels lurching forth, yet with no engine roar of any kind. As it steers past the last few buildings demarcating the closed town of Niraya, the lopers begin to follow behind, moving as a caravan with space for Grimm to blend into the roughly-similar bodied machinebeasts.

on the horizon could be seen a massive dust storm, massive flashes and bright red and orange patches could be seen within as it roared ever closer

Those aboard the lopers pull goggled masks and heavy dusters over themselves, offering spares to Imos, Nyanta, then pull massive tarps over the lopers themselves, again offering a tarp conveniently fitting for Grim. The platform ahead’s air intakes and exhaust meanwhile seal over with dense filters, while spotlights aboard keep the caravan together.
 
As one final precaution, a long, extremely dense-fibered cable led from the rear of the platform is unreeled, then connected to each loper and Grimm’s saddle as a way to physically bind the group together.
 
[ 🔊 ]  
At the edge of the storm, red and orange glowing specks and clumps begin collecting within nooks and crannies, tingling upon touch. Very soon, the storm blankets the landscape, tinting everything in sight as if it were viewed through a red-orange filter.

Val: Through a radio to Nyanta & Imos: “Don’t worry, if you feel tingling where the dust sticks, it’s just small planktons!”

As if mustered by some primal string of code by Grimm’s voice and roar, the lopers double the rate of their pace, keeping in step with Grimm while the leading platform increases it’s own speed accordingly. Atop this lead vehicle, one of the caravan’s most heavily-armed and armored guards emerges from an airlocking hatch to begin searching for the cave, searching through the dust with a special set of goggles, while also toting an automatic rifle.

it was sheltered from the storm quite well, being on the opposite side of the torrent of wind and sand. Within there was quite enough space to set up a camp for them all

Hailing the lead vehicle via radio comm of the discovery, the caravan begin to close in on his location, marked by an ultrabright strobing flashlight. Once crowded around the entrance, the agile lopers spelunk in at Grimm’s lead, before the group dismount and establish a campsite from offloaded supplies.
 
Outside, the platform-buggy backs in reverse in front of the cave, blocking the sand with a tarp stretched over the entrance, then opening the rear-hatch.
