Headed outside of the vessel where a live shooting range for pilots has been arranged leading off of the ship’s outer hull, he turns his attention over to his BF-R; specifically, it’s obscure-purpose “full-magdump burst in one triggerpull” setting…

Not really rage, but more figuring out what the heck a prolonged 24-30 round burst would ever be used for, as no field manuals ever really advise against it… Alone with his thoughts though in space, he looks around at the universe surrounding him, starting to wonder how in the grand scheme of things, set on a stage this big, ppl still be fighting one-another over terrestrial landwars.
 
When, and if he survives all this, he’d certainly turn to something more pacifistic, like astronomy, or animal handling.

with that he returned to the barracks portion, he had of course been in training to one day become a pilot, but to just happen across the title… a lot ahd changed over the course of a single mission.

(Leaving this here while I’m conscious) _Since Zeke had fallen asleep, he used his ribbons subconsciously and dragged himself from where he had laid down and right next to his bed… They weren’t as strong as they are when he’s awake so he didn’t even attempt to drag himself up into it
