“Then it sounds like something that shouldn’t be anywhere near me, or something I’m not getting paid enough to carry.” She’d get on her comlink saying “Get the ship ready for takeoff, we’re leaving as soon as possible.” Of course a quick ‘On it!’ would be heard from the other end of the wrist mounted comlink as the rest of the hired on crew finished up their loading. Fortuna would start to take her leave as well giving them one last glance. “Not having anything on this ship I don’t know about so if you want it hauled you better speak up, and prove it to me. And do it quickly too.”

he opens the container, inside a carefully automated cryo-system is hooked to a cylindrical tank, and as he walks up to wipe off the glass, inside you spot an Anthropomorph Stag.

Thankfully that seemed to get her attention, Fortuna getting on her comlink again and saying “Cancel that last request. Looks like we won’t have to cut our losses after all.” She’d head back and take a look at her ‘cargo’ for herself with a slight smirk. “See? That wasn’t so hard~ But it certainly complicates things all the same…but I have dealt with complications before. Since I know its not full of armed explosives or a strike team now, its cleared for transport.” She’d snap at some of the crew to get that crate loaded in as well, as well as mentioning something about having to pull a few tricks under her breath.

“If I end up on that list then I’ll know who talked, and which loose end to clean up so don’t put me on the list.” She’d then look over the data pad since he was offering, already in too deep might as well dig deeper and hope to come out the other side of the planet.

Probably, and quickly too, a generic looking 200 meter trading ship making itself scarce, hopefully disappearing into the long list of other trading ships and freighters in the galaxy, soon being joined by Fortuna’s actual ship in a convoy of 2. Gotta have an escort ship after all.

the pad meanwhile told of the old gods, that had been essential when the world had to recover from the collapse. Magic came from them, much more potently than what Shinra could leech out of the galaxy.

Soaring across the atmosphere with a contrail left in wake, as the shuttle slows down to the planet’s terminal velocity, Indra throttles the engines up as close to the surface as he safely can, then lands between a pad occupied by an unknown corvette, and the familiar hints of active surface-side conflict–figuring it to be the mentioned “scorpion sentinel”, therefore the chosen landing zone likely cleared of any raiders.

Disembarked, the shork proceeds to follow cautiously after the obvious trails left by the mechanoid.

the cat grunted and hissed at him as his strength started to falter however, he grit his teeth and dashed to the side as he let his strength go. While dashing he swiped his blade towards the oppressor legs
