As his mouth is carefully closed to the chin-boop, he grunts as if attempting to say “huh?”, then gulps, still asleep.

Having lain back with her on his chest, Riggs is able to get up by parting Rameshvara’s arms to the sides, along with his tail having curled around her at some point. As he stirs a bit, throwing a blanket over him quickly settles him back to sleep.

This is pretty much the same as his cereal bowls, albeit from a fabricator meant for food.  
Or from a delivery mechanism.  
Either way, it’s food being delivered from a magic box

an alarm went off on riggs wristwatch, detailing to her that it was 11AM
