As a maelstrom of profound emotions felt for Riggs wells back up within his chest, he quickly feels just like he had when he’d fled after first meeting her, his recent transformation likely only exacerbating these feelings even more. Once risen unto his feet, he uses the momentum to sweep Riggs off her own, then looks at her cradled within his arms.

She makes a small noise of surprise and holds on to his upper body. Now resting against his chest, she looks to his face, to his eyes, and rests with a content smile on her muzzle, despite her shock.

His eyes beginning to tear up, he hugs Olive deeply, himself just about trembling by now, then kisses her.

The two remain embracing eachother for the longest, even as the arena surrounding them transforms from it’s dingy, rugged appearance back to it’s much cleaner original state.

“We probably shouldn’t stay here,” she mutters, “but- but this is really, really nice…”

His nerve sapped after the move he’d made, Ramesh lurchedly nods in silent reply. Wiping his teary face before they’ve eventually exited the arena, they’re both soon passing sights again aboard a maglev, back to the colony datum & Eriksson.

 
the Cyberspace of New Scandia was building up as fast, if not faster than the rest of the city, new systems interacting, new logs starting, to an AI this was like walking through a garden of speedgrowth weeds.
 
Jade and midnight were currently exchanging their experiences.
 
Jade: “Nyanta could really tell you to keep us informed more often, even on the other side of the planet we could still help.”
 
Midnight: “in fairness, the thought hadn’t crossed my own mind either… hey is that the livestream from the arena?”
 
“it is… are that Rameshvara and Olive?”
 
“also yes… and they’re kissing.”
 
Jade: “great, now i owe Amy 50 credz, i said it would take one more planet settlement before those two dorks got together.”
 
“looks like they were having a melee spar that escalated.”
 
“some escalation… seems like they’re leaving though, now show me that game site you were talking about.”
 
with that they moved on.

Omega: what do you want to bet it turns to a three way relationship?

She’ll be sat by him on the way back, observing the scenery again, but also observing the shorg

He also focuses upon her as they travel, trying not to stare too long by occasionally glancing out the windows.
 
On Riggs’s thanking him, he looks into her eyes, blinking to hold himself back from tearing up again. “For what…?” ^%<~<%

“Well, you’ve made a lot happen today. You got me out of the office, gave me a really nice day, and inspired a good bit of change. Changed my mind…a lot…maybe I could hire help in the office. Maybe I could get out and make a difference again. Maybe I didn’t know it until now, but maybe I lied to you when you visited my office the other day…”

Not knowing what to say for the longest, cautiously, he scooches a bit more closer until up against Riggs,
 
then affectionately wraps his arms around her, though occasionally wiping his eyes again a bit.
 
“…I want to be with you, at every part, as much now as before.”

“And maybe I didn’t know what I was talking about when I said we weren’t the right people for each other.” She hugs him in return, her muzzle gently nuzzling his shoulder.

He protectively crowns his head over hers, also trying to breath slow and deep to calm himself, as he can still be felt trembling. The two sit in this public show of affection for nearly an hour as the landscape and arcologies zoom by, until the maglev finally reaches and stops at New Scandia’s main hub.

She’ll let him break the embrace, although once he does, she’ll stand and leave with him. “I think someone was poking fun at us,” she mutters with a small smirk, her face flushed under her fur. She’s not really sure where to go now, though, other than out of this maglev station.

“I’d volunteer my place, but it’s kinda, eh… ‘ascetic’. As a synth I never had to sleep or do much with ‘living space’.”
 
“I even go as far as keeping office-work mobile, sort of like all the hypercorp execs do, I suppose.”

“I haven’t been in my room much but I do have furniture and stuff…I’m pretty sure anyway. I guess if it doesn’t bother you, I’m open to it.”
