As the movie’s intro* starts with a rising ostinato, Ramesh is already on the edge of the couch, perplexed with his eyes glued to the screen… it’s a tad bit disconcerting that he’s the same clade of animal as the movie’s antagonist, though Ramesh himself doesn’t seem to mind one bit, more engrossed with witnessing the couple at the start go swimming in the dangerous waters.

Riggs, not really thinking, rests an arm behind the both of them on le couch. Her tail wags a little, tho not much, as she’s being quiet because she’s also interested in moooooveeeeeeeee-

Despite being a multi-centenarian shelled within a matured body, as people are grotesquely torn down to bits and devoured by the shark onscreen, the shark on the couch meanwhile cowers up against Riggs and Kat, becoming one with the floof-pile.

Both are snuggled! It does take physical effort to suppress her canine growl when the people are attacked, but that comes with being a doggo. Her tail wags and she enjoys tha movie with her comrades snuggled up to her.

about halfway through a phone call comes for kat, to which she responds by going and getting dressed and letting the two know she wont be back for a while and to lock the door when they leave

Amy was not happy, her nice relaxing time with her favourite dragoness was rudely interrupted by Jade, who was relaying a message from the federation, that apparently COULD be arsed to care as soon as a planet became profitable, and who were currently poaching her crew out from under her nose.
 
Amy: “that’s half my security, 60% of my engineers and nearly all of the science staff, how am i going to keep the launch schedule with a near empty ship?”
 
Fed officer: “much more lightly i imagine, look miss, you’ve had a lot of things sent your way, and barely even needed half that for a colony like new scandia, setting up a few outposts shouldn’t be that hard, leave the construction work for the ones that come after.”
 
“you really think it’s that easy don’t you?… bah, fine, but i expect your brave marines to come when we find the bloody xenomorph queen because we’re no longer equipped for clearing out hostiles.”
