I have this problem when I’m coming down off hard liquor and can’t drink anymore, a warm shower might be the fix.

It’s not temperature-related. It’s a cold, empty feeling emotionally. Very odd for me to feel this way, I usually feel quite the opposite.

It probably means something, but I don’t know what.

I have since learned why I felt such a coldness in my heart. We have lost an important figure in our community, and I sensed it. I’m sorry to bear such bad news, but I am merely the messenger.

Also, to make something clear: I care about someone, someone who I sense has faced a lot of bullying for her faith. Someone who likely loox at the world today and sees attacks on her faith in the news often, too. And that is why I support her venting in the ways she sees fit. They are, ultimately, harmless in the grand scheme of things.

Dragoneer isn’t the only purrson my heart felt cold for. Quinton Reviews just lost a close friend. He’s already been dealing with a lot of depression lately.

In his Discord, we were there to offer support and condolences. In the music channel, I then linked Welcome to the Black Parade and Famous Last Words. The purrson I talked about Gerard Way with yesterday, then linked a compilation of songs about loss. I’m crying of course.

But don’t mistake this as me doing badly, mentally. This is my job, to offer emotional support to people. My antidepressants allow me to do this without getting overwhelmed by sadness, and it’s crucially important that people have someone there during their most difficult times.

Phew! Navigated that stomach purge successfully. A downside of handling my chemo better is it’s been a very long time since I’ve had one of these. I feel like I’m gonna feel much better after a short while.
