Thank you, Pazuzu, for the work you’ve done through Vivziepop. Learning that Angel Dust’s real name is the name of my second-worst abuser hits hard. Thank you for throwing the bottles at him… You know what he said and how personal that was for me.
Episode 4 of Hazbin Hotel hits heavy ❤️

“Ettūtu was only one of the words for spiders present in Akkadian texts, the other two being anzūzu (written ŠÈ.GUR4) and possibly lummû.[3]”
Well, that answers why Pazuzu chose spiders as his calling card. Uttu is a spider goddess, and it’s interesting that her Wikipedia article also chose a white spider. Like Angel Dust from Hazbin.

“In Mesopotamian folklore, the spider embodies themes of fate, creation, and wisdom. It is often linked to the goddess Inanna, who represents love, war, and fertility. The spider is also associated with creativity and interconnectedness, reflecting the complex relationship between humans and the natural world.”
