Are bronies furries?

I wouldn’t care about MLP if they were humans.

I like A-team and Police Academy. Similarity with MLP: bunch of crazy and very different characters works together and lot of fun from those differences and crazyness.

I think one should only be explicitly classified as a “Furry” if they explicitly identify as one.

Because ponies have fur. But I never identified as a furry honestly.

They are in an unstable quantum state where observing them results in an equal chance of furry, brony or most interestingly a superposition known as furby.

tbh thereś a lot of anthro/feral/etc. stuff in the mlp community so yeah kinda?

What a furry is is so weirdly nebulous. Some bronies I knew came from the furry fandom. But I know a few guys who were bronies (now ex-bronies, or are a lot less involved in pony stuff) but don’t participate in the furry community at all.

I would dare to say that effectively they are, but as a subgenre of furry?
 
I may add, for the sake of being clear, that I don’t find anything wrong for a brony to consider/not consider himself a furry.

I concur; I was on the furry fandom way long before I was even a brony.

I’m probably not a furry, but I did find Rouge, Blaze, Amy Rose and Sandy Cheeks to be attractive as a kid. I still think Sandy is still hot. Oh and Rouge, of course.

Some can be. Possibly me (not mainly furries, but I love wolves a lot - so I think that counts). :D

Yes they are. Not sure why anyone wants to be in denial about it considering both fandoms like animals in a certain type of way and even share fetishes in artwork and other things like creating custom costumes representing animals. The same can be said about those who like Sonic characters in that way too.

In my own opinion, no but some that express interest in Anthrology or Fursuiting, then possibly yes; those ones can be classed as furries.
