“Besides, I just remembered… medichines, ladies. They’ll denature just about anything bad to one’s body. I can eat unfilleted pufferfish all day and not keel over, then down a glass of potassium cyanide, just for that rich, burning sensation, so… I’m pretty certain I’ll be fine. I can transfuse as a universal donor with the ship’s medbay in an emergency, too, so I got you both covered as well. Juuuust in case we, like… I suppose have really bad allergic reactions, er sumsuch…”
 
“But I guess to be extra-safe, that means I should try sampling a bit of everything before you two.” ^%•w•%

the smell of delicious cooked fish and vegetables slowly starts to fill the tent. Some instruments strike up and start to play a lively tune
