Opting to facilitate this part-mission/part-reunion enterprise to where it counts, the cat and shark, along with any who’d like to volunteer and tag along, all embark upon a dropship headed for the approximate area of clan Yig Miniar’s domain, around the mountain Nyanta suspects and plans to investigate…

For the sake of evoking a less oppressive entrance, they touch down at the suspected mountain’s surrounding piedmonts.
 

 
Disembarked among the wilderness of an alien world, they begin to set out on their trek the rest of the way by foot-paw.

We make for The plains behind the mountain. From there I can track better. I need open land to activate my skill.

Holsters his sidearm, the beast-repellent cannisters and deployable radio securely fastened across his suit like a bandoleer. “Should we dust off aboard the dropship then and set back down over there instead, or hoof it from here? It’s your call.”

As they begin setting out, to Rameshvara, this overland journey would be daunting.
 
To look all around oneself, surrounded by seemingly identical trees and ridges, all blending together with those that precede them, and to look on toward nothing but even more alien taiga, knowing one must somehow pass through it all… it tugs at one’s sanity, even given the rational knowledge they’re well-provisioned and secured with all the tech necessary for physical survival.
 
Deep down though, the shark never felt so alive. For most of his time on Borea, he remained in a cushioned-out corner of this world that was safe and easy, and throughout his entire existence, he’d never really been truly physically tested, until now.

Howling wind, light snowfall, the faint crunch of ice, dried pine needles and grit underfoot, and one’s own respiration are the only noises usually heard, with hardly much conversing, nor distracting oneself with the global meshnet. Only taking in the scenery, and for good reason; concentration is everything. Any of a hundred small mistakes, or one big one, could always turn deadly.

the cat after a while raaised a paw and meowed out loudly Hold up. before we get to far from the Erikson i will find our way.
 
he meows out and puts out the cigar before pulling out a small object covered in cloth and unwraps it its a gemstone, the stone is black as the night and it has a moving swirling mist on it, with white spots dancing across it, like the night sky itself. HE runs his thumb over it and smiles
 
The key to a being a Starhunt is being able to track the night sky, however, i am in a strange land and this will allow me to recongise it as if i have lived here my whole life. he looks up and smiles
 
after looking at the night sky he begins to speak a very ancient form of Catfolk and raises the rock to the sky, the rock begins to glow softly and it looks as if new little white dots are being added to it.
 
he yells out with a final word with power behind his voice and a small little burst of energy releases from it. Enough that you can feel it. he slowly brings his arm down and smiles

Oh come on you didn’t say the pun… Astro-CATographer. But yes I am a Starhunt….I literally hunt and follow the stars my little shark friend

Heck, the last two times were centuries ago; once on a small rock orbiting around Jupiter, and another time inside an old subway tunnel on Earth… But, now you know for certain where the clan Yig Miniar may be living?”

No not 100 percent but now I know a more precise location and he looks up after pitting the rock away they are somewhere to our north east….deeper in the forest

“You got a sense of how many there might be? Are they on the move?”

he nods kind of. I can tell where we are going is not going to be their main camp

“Still that’s, well, you know… it’s your folks, let’s go meet’em!”

Yea~ you gonna be able 5o keep up with me! he laughs and meows!

“Been treading your pawsteps in the snow to keep up the pace so far, I think I’ve got the hang of this, let’s go!”

he nods and makes off his pace quicker than before but not fast enough to just leave him behind. Especially seeing that the winds began to kick up, the howling of the wolves in the distant could be heard as well
 
They will begin hunting soon! Be mindful~

he doesn’t go far. He makes sure he is able to catch up with him.
 
as you catch back up to him he draws his sword your sensors or ears the sound of a bunch of paws running against the ground Wolves!
