Sticks, not having learned his lesson the last three times he’s spoke: “yes ma’am- thank you, miss.”  
The tin can just reaches up at her with a thumbs-up. He glances around however, then gestures at Sticks. He clasps his fingers together, then points at the building.

Some processing power later, and he’s asking if he has to share a room with Sticks, the nosey ’bold in question looking over curiously.

Matt: “a good point, as you can see with the decapitated ghost here, the supernatural is quite real in borgova, that comes largely from the substance called INK which has introduced a unique set of wildlife, called cryptids, the jersey devil and tribes of permanently transformed werewolves, rusalkas, harpyae… and similar spirits are basically around every corner.”
 
“a lot are benign, domovoy and klabautermanns for example.”
 
“others are just wildlife with varying ways to defend themselves lethally.”
 
“and some are not only unique, but also malicious, those are our main targets.”
 
“Jack the ripper would in fact manifest here and could be killed.”
 
“the Golem is wandering around somewhere in the wilderness”
 
“the Baba Yaga is bewitching men into soldiers, women into slaves and children into food.”
 
“and that’s leaving aside what professor fulmigatti did to the place…”

He visibly depresses a little bit in relief, although it may not last long if Sticks is clingy-enough, which may indeed happen. Not that the skelebone would need sleep, but, you know how it is.

MAtt: “the modus operandi would be, identify the problem, research of normal means are enough, look up possible abnormal means, apply those as needed. You Kae are studying the INK, a substance that turns dreams and nightmare tangible, and can make a normal person wield what you can only call magic, helping you further your studies is basically our own investment into understanding the ink. Harley and Shyanne, i gotta admit i brought in mostly for when diplomacy fails, having some seasoned fighters is a fair bit better than recruits, as we regularly get swamped with requests for help exterminating cryptids or otherwise moving them away.”

He blinks. “Huh- what? Huh…then I’d be around forever…”  
The local tin can whips his head around at these words, then bumps into Sanguine(or rather her legs), clasping his hands together and shaking his head, Sticks too busy pondering the possibilities to notice.

(or maybe it’s just because i’m a dumbass and forgot to actually click the send button, dangit it happened again.)

“having said that, i do have a request here from a bordertown, wild rusalkae, basically spirits that would at first glance look like a woman that narrowly escaped drowning, are harassing the locals, no one got truly harmed yet but the food they grow is in danger and with it the town’s livelihood, the ladies are not particularly tough but they tend to become a tide of claws, teeth and electric discharges so a few armed peasants are NOT suited to deal with it.”

Sticks strokes his pink, scaly chin. “The sun’s only my friend when I’m castin’ fire spells- or in winter. I like the indoors anyways.”

“and i just remembered Matt would nail me with a silver stake if i turn anyone without his approval, so forget i mentioned it.”

Sticks: “Aww, okay…maybe another time, then.”  
The resident tin can, I kid ye not, shakes her hand and makes the “I owe you” sign, via a fist on his chestplate.

she winks at the bonehead, teling him she had all eternity to think of a way to cash in.

He gives a brief thumbs-up. Sticks wanders over to the blocky building to pick a room, although the tin can goes nowhere, as it isn’t like he has any luggage with him, save for the false exterior, the armor, and a shield-shaped pendant handinging from his neck, all of which he’s wearing of course. The sword and shield he carries don’t seem like things he’d leave, either, being his bread and butter so to speak.

“hmm, say Tin can, do you have need of sleep? Matt has been looking into all manner of ways of security but had no luck, we could use a rund the clock guard.”

He shakes his head and salutes, ready to aid.

“ah excellent, the entrance hall would be your place of vigil then.”

He nods but then taps his sheathed sword before making a cutting motion with his arms- evidently, he still doesn’t mind the prospect of slaying beasts.

“no need to worry, you will no doubt be called upon for more than just standing around.”

Kae: i assume youre sending one of those two?

He gives two thumbs up and a wipe of his forehead as if in relief- his faux body does not sweat, after all. An eternity of boredom would succ.
 
(I should mention, you could totally have other skelebones talk >.> this one shall be mute nevertheless, tho I had considered a ritual to give him his old one)
