Scrawling something unto the opposite side of his own letter, he then folds it up into as small of a parcel as possible, then tosses it in front of the cat as he leaves the balcony. Picking up the letter, the flipside briefly says;

The cat suddenly gets hugged from behind by arms with finned elbows–a clawed hand clasping across his whiskers.

Rather than let him move on his own volition, Rameshvara brings the cat along with him, letting his footpaws drag against the tavern’s floorboards. They eventually stop sequestered within a broom-closet, complete with a lantern carefully suspended above them in a way that evokes the shark all-too-much as some sorta conspiracy-nut.

I doubt it was any actual imperial force. It was either a rouge unit or yes thugs dressed up. I do not trust the doctor but I feel like she dosnt trust me either

it was here that royal settled down, letting his senses for the arcane reach out to look for the spirits.

the garden was surprisingly quite full of them mostly hidden within the flowers and trees

“It just seemed far too easy to take them on though if they really were genuine soldiers. Also, it bugs me that the doctor doesn’t want to vilify some big bad authority-figure, unless she’d just needs us angry and marching into wherever she wants us to cause havok… where’s that mine she mentioned last night? Is it real?”

Sorry about the secrecy,”—He says, standing from an upturned bucket but having to hunch down to keep himself from hitting the closet’s low ceiling.—“it’s just that things went from merry to manic to somewhat mellow in just one night, ontop of our town getting razed. I’m not much of a sleuth, so I don’t know what good it’ll do going to that mine…”
 
Ramesh then creaks the door open slightly, peering his head through left to right, before holding it open for the cat.
 
“but, Mr. Starhunt, do the honors.”

Crystal meanwhile would still be sitting on the roof of the building looking over that note while she checked on her own equipment. Hard to say if it was addressed to her specifically or to the group in general. Hard to say who it was from either, that bar everyone took cover in was packed and anyone in there could have known something she didn’t.

Hmmm…shady stuff or explicit stuff? Well they had plenty of time to do explicit stuff last night and given the note that appeared in her room, probably shady stuff. Time for bugbutt to do some snooping around. She’d spring off after the duo but kept her distance or otherwise tried to remain unnoticed.
