That’s the plan! Mixed with nutrient-rich things like veggie sandwiches and bananas, a junk-based diet is, weirdly enough, probably what I need to avoid wasting away to 90 pounds and below. Reminds me of the time I was dying from listeria for weeks and the only thing I could keep down was Cheetos.
Junk food may not be healthy, but it seems to come in handy for me weirdly often. My legs are beginning to feel a little thicker already, so I’m hoping I can get myself to around 130.
Reminder to everyone that I’m in my 11th year of being on chemo pills. I’m not sure there’s anyone else out there who has been on chemo even half that long, so my medical needs are often unexpected and bizarre, lol

So much for seltzer water. Threw up a couple times and had severe diarrhea. My covenhead says it’s probably acid reflux, which I looked up whether seltzer water is a good idea with acid reflux, and no. No it is not.
My primary care doctor and their staff are also horrible at their jobs. I was reading their Yelp reviews and there are reviews going back an entire decade about how they don’t return calls or put in the referrals they say they’re going to put in. I scheduled three over-the-phone appointments with them. The first one, I did get a call! … to tell me the doctor was busy and we should reschedule. That appointment had been scheduled for 4pm on a Friday. One of the reviews I read said the doctor takes half-days on Friday. So they scheduled me for when he wouldn’t even be available 🙄 And then failed to call me for the next two phone appointments I set up. Just when we had been finally looking into my stomach problems, too.
Oh well. All I can do is take it easy on the chemo and keep in mind that I can and probably should take breaks from it. And keep eating foods that will hopefully help me put weight on.
I’m scared but, looking at how I’m feeling overall is a good grounding technique. Anger caused by calcium deficiency seems very low. Muscle fatigue caused by hypokalemia is more frequent, but still not all that common. That means, diet and vitamins are working, so while this is scary, there’s still hope.

Eevee, I know this is the most active thread here but its not a general chat thread. It’s more for users to get real life problems off their chest and help each other. I’d try starting your own thread about the topic
