C’mon mom, now that you’ve discovered sparkling water can help wean you off of wine, let’s do this! I love my mom, but she is exhausting to be around. Quitting drinking will hopefully help her gain temperance on the whole constantly saying things to me thing. Imagine having ADHD and wanting to get immersed in your interests and projects but you live with Momora Gaebora.

It’s getting warm again plus my quality of sleep has been quite bad lately…I’m so tired and sluggish lately, I can hardly even function properly anymore. It doesn’t help that I’ve been in emotional turmoil for a while too.

I’m still not sure who or what is draining you like that. Try believing in your own power, and tapping into the energy in your heart. With enough focus, your heart can shine light that wards off any forces that are against you. You won’t be able to see the light, but it will be there.

Last night was the most terrible experience sleeping I have had in a long time because I just kept waking up every twenty minutes all night and I now feel completely drained and cramped…severely dehydrated, no matter how much water I drink. The Mourning Doves sound lovely this morning, however.

Things to do when one is lonely and depressed:
  1. Recognize and accept such feelings. They are not bad, they are merely feelings.
  2. Work on such feelings and work towards a more positive mindset as a whole. Eventually, integration of these difficult feelings and other such difficult feelings with the more positive aspects of the self can be achieved.
  3. Work on knowing and loving yourself. Find your interests and delve into them passionately! Nerdiness is a good thing. Looking into favourite things such as sports or favourite franchises makes for some fun hobbies that aren’t harmful to be into.
  4. Realize that your computer or iPad or phone is a TARDIS and library wrapped into one. If, for example, you really like football, you can travel back to - and watch or rewatch - any major game that has been played. You can check out documentaries to learn the complete history and technicalities of the sport.
  5. If you like something, you are not alone in liking it! Fan communities exist for just about everything. Look into those for finding friends, potential partners, or even found family (the guy who adopted me as his sibling is someone I met on a Godzilla fan forum lol). You are not guaranteed to fit in, but this is how you begin finding people to spend time with.
  6. Another good thing to do for depression is to get a pet or a plant, provided your depression isn’t so bad that you can’t take care of it. Having a companion is very helpful.
  7. Another thing I like to do is get out of the house. It’s also good to take a little break from everything and get some fresh air. Walks are highly recommended.
