Rosemary Parker is usually so poised and elegant [link] that it sometimes can be easy to remember that she can be just as much a victim of bad luck and fate as anyone else. This is one of those comedic moments. With this piece I was particularly interested in whether I could mesh the completely cartoon wild take look with my more finished color work. It worked out pretty well in the end. The piece is my usually color pencil, marker, gouache, and technical pen.
