Don’t worry, friend, i’m not looking to steal your light-specks. In fact, i’m not ‘looking’ at all, as you can see. I’m assuming you can see, of course. You see, I can’t. See, that is.
But i’m not a thief, you see.
Fine, I’ll admit it. I once tried to steal light from someone. But I was caught, you see. Difficult to hide light, you see. And they said i would never steal anything ever again, you see. Said they’d sort me out for good, you see. And did they ever! I haven’t felt the need to steal any light after that, you see!
Oh, you think i’m oddly cheerful for my condition? Well you see, once the light-specks finally fade you’ll all have to walk a mile in my moccasins! And then you’ll all see, you see.
