I enjoyed the film a lot, and found it creative and heartfelt. I appreciate that Perro is so much like a character I came up with back in like 2002 :3 And, I knyow you didn’t say this to me but, I have watched numerous animated films from the 80s and 90s, Disney and otherwise, nya.
But I don’t like to fight with people. We are likely going to have to agree to disagree on this one!

Me personally, I think we need more edginess like this in children’s media. I remember liking that movie “9” a lot when I was a kid. I just thought it was so different.
Go watch a lot of feature animated films 80s and 90s (not only Disney), observe carefully how well the villains and antagonists were characterized in those works and then look at these stuffed animals with capes and sickles for weeds and realize the creative gulf that separates them…

Purrsonally, I think he’s an awesome villain! And a breath of fresh air when animated villains have all been so tepid for the past decade or so.
But a cat’s nine lives are not so easily taken, nya! We are strong :3
Meanwhile he’s only an antagonist, not a villain, and a secondary one at that (the “real” villain is Jack Horner, he too is insipid and characterized very badly! And his gags are jaw-dropping); furthermore, his motivations as well as his personality are as inconsistent as a fart.
I mean, for the entire duration of the film he was chasing this cat for what… to the simple reason that he was pissed off and found him arrogant?! Truly EXCELLENT motivation to feature relentless death; Ingmar Bergman he will be really proud of these “authors” (I can still feel him turning in his grave).
And do we want to talk about its look and design…?! Such banal, standardized and inflated stuff that you can see a mile away from being here those guys have browsed a lot of furry fandom sites to find out what was popular (I will have seen hundreds of characters not similar, but SAME as the death wolf).
I mean… tell me if this is creativity?!
Not that the rest of the film is any better, it ALL sucks, only good as a substitute for laxatives.

One of the most insignificant and overrated characters of this squalid century; which says a lot about where we are at!
