I think you’re missing the metaphor here.
By all means, feel free to consider me weird, but I have for the longest time felt that there is a strange beauty to the human mind’s ability to intensely long for the most unattainable of things. I may not constantly think about it much in real life—but given the opportunity, would I have liked to be e.g. a cat instead? Absolutely.
