Which one’s do you like best?? I’ve done a mix of pass-through earrings, and deep engrave earrings. I think I prefer the deeply engraved ones as it allows for a more striking mix of colors in the positive and negative space! Leave comments down below I’d love to hear which ones spark more joy than others XD

Over the past couple days I managed to take my multi layer pin setup I made and turn it into a fairly efficient way of making these earrings! It takes quite a bit of trial and error in getting a stable design that has the right amount of color balance, and works with the fragility of wood at this small size. These things are 20 mm on their longest side! I mixed and matched all kinds of different ways of painting these little guys, seeing what works and what doesn’t.  I think my personal favorite is the black crow with the gold inlay. It looks very clean, and has wonderful contrast. I’m gonna have to use what I’ve learned here on my pins. I feel an artistic revolution coming up for me! Cutting more now to do more experiments….
