EE this is absolutely adorable ^_ I love seeing Tails and Krystal like this, it is rare and amazing

This image is sweet. I can imagine a scenario where Sonic and his friends were killed while trying to stop Eggman. Although successful in defeating Eggman, Sonic annd the others are seriously injured and were unable to stop his machine from destroying their world. So Sonic puts Tails in an escape pod since he wasn’t hurt and sends him to the Lylat System just before their planet blows up. Tails is devastated by this moment because not only is his home world destroyed, but he also lost all his friends who were practically family to him. Tails’s escape pod lands on a planet in the Lylat System where he’s eventually found by Krystal of the Star Fox Team. After hearing Tails’s story about how he ended up in the Lylat System, Krystal decides to adopt Tails as her son since she understands the trauma of losing Cerinia and her family. Tails accepts Krystal’s offer as she takes him to the Great Fox where he meets Fox, Falco, Slippy, and Peppy. The guys hear Krystal’s plan to adopt Tails and accept knowing what she went through before joining Star Fox.
