Y’all, I’ve cracked the code. Blaze the Cat… is Sunset Shimmer’s fursona. No, really. Check this out: In their first appearances, they both learn the power of friendship, and they were both specifically created to be a counterpart to the main character of their respective franchises. They both live in an alternate dimension. They both have fire motifs. They both have Super modes. They both have a cocky, blue speedster friend with a heart of gold. Sunset Shimmer wanted to be a princess. Blaze is a princess. And finally, they’re both relegated to the spin-off dungeon.
