you cannot hear the rest as the door just hit you on the butt and sent you flying over the teslatic lines, the army wasting no time firing into the opening with every weapon they had.
 
now out here you can see what they meant, giant beastly insects, lightly singed from the coal mine being on fire and clearly in great pain, but still holding together well enough that the teslatics could barely hold the line.

not picking the fight had been a good idea, Rakan had power, but Chaser added skill to the mix as he tore the bugs to ribbons, the armored teslatic gleefully zapping the insects even as they rippped up armored barricades and entire cannon emplacements, ultimately the miners were able to collapse that entryway, even if fissures had formed and were smoking, those would probably stay alight.

I sigh and calm down a bit.
 
“Yeah. He deserves ALL of the pain. N-Not you, you’re good.” I set my hand on your shoulder and smile.
