Evance is the name of one of Arcadia’s port cities. It is one of the main ports used to large scale trade with the mainland continent kingdoms and nation’s. The city was vibrant with a liberal and life loving lifestyle and culture. While sailors unloaded cargo from incoming vessels, children were often seen surrounding artists as they paint colorful pastel images on the sides of stone walls and warehouses. The docks were surprisingly live with culture and spirit. This was the site that first greeted anyone who came to Arcadia via sea. It was a pleasurable first impression. The roads into the city were paved with cobblestone, oil lamps stood idle on every street, and both merchants and townspeople could be seen walking around and going about their business.

Cassie Braton was introduced to the sight of Evance the second she exited her vessel. As a runaway noble, she’d taken a small fortune with her when she’d left her family. It was easy to convince the sailors to take her along, to start anew.

Ash was in a similar position. Although, he’d gotten transport on a dedicated transport vessel, rather than slipping aboard a cargo vessel. Accomodations hadn’t been the best, but they were suitable for the short journey. One of the ships sailors, a feline, patted Ash on the shoulder as he walked past. “Welcome to Arcadia.” They said before walking off.

It was always this time of the morning when the ships came into the city’s port. Despite the lively culture of Evance, it was always an exciting moment when the ships pulled in. Any one of them could potentially house a hero or adventurer, with grand stories to tell! Of course, being from a noble family, Auria could also look forward to more weight in her coin purse. Trade and an open market made for ample profits.

Even with the Industrial and trade centric mentality of Evance, the city’s outskirts were dotted with hundreds of farms! The villages and trading posts that made up the agricultural land of Evance’s outskirts were just as alive as the rest of the city… Albiet with much less noise! Hard work was something to be proud of, although farm life often left Dana with many idle moments in the folder seasons such as this current one.
