Ah, right. Well if anyone has any ideas for proper 2014 insanity I shall exist once again.

Anyone ever look at all the brilliant images they find (& maybe even privately collect) across the internet, but then stop & realize that, really, virtually none are sanctioned for any schmo to personally use on the open web, despite being so easy to copy/paste, save, &/or implement? _{& then after doing a bit of research, find that the brilliant online artists who’ve done the strikingly beautiful works you’ve deeply enjoyed the most, by & large don’t even accept commissions, tho when seen joking about it, proclaim their prices would be in the +2k range… ^.__.}
 
For some odd reason I can’t explain now, I don’t think I can browse these philomena project sites, or look at any image anywhere else on the web ever the same way, tbh. I think, I want to try getting into making art myself, tho the fact that so many making what I like the most online are practically tenured young professionals with other talented hobbies as well (& that I think even know & speak to one another as their own private cliques) is perturbing.
 
No idea why, but this somehow reminds me of how Adam Reed described what inspired him to make the Archer TV series, when he was vacationing in Salamanca, Spain.

I have been trying to do the same but it’s very difficult to learn and get better at

(floating around the art pages is the advice, don’t compare yourself to someone you look up to, it invariably disappoints you.)

It’s strange rlly, cuz I think someone I talked to from Romania a few days ago said he felt nearly the same way I do now, tho I think it was over that new ‘‘Hellraiser’’ thing he likes a whole lot. He says he casually plays music on harmonica and piano tho, as a hobby. I haven’t done much of anything at all artistically expressive to similar degrees within my lifetime. ^_{>__>}

Tell you, I have wanted to find more uses for my bunny OC of late, but never found much to do with him…

It’s frowned-upon to act like it’s your art but start by tracing, be proud of the result & try without tracing, and try studying what you do weird and well  
liek, I draw my stuff too tall, because I focus too much on proportions >.> and I’m not very precise when I start a line but I can be precise by the end of it. from obvious to nuance.  
Next time I sketch, I’ll probably try a full-body of a character of mine and try to improve. Let me know what your tactic is b’cuz it seems like a tuff skill to get better at

Like, cyberpunk and stuff? That’s a good setting for all sorts of RPs, and it wouldn’t be a bad idea to have at least one thread for it.

Well, as it stands, our group is actually really familiar with these, so lets say…2070, cybernetics, mechs, robots, etc. That should fit the begining criterea of WHAT is availible.

Fantasy seems to be where it’s at and I’m not really interested in another neocanterlot myself but whatever comes out could be interesting, maybe a good thread to grow over time. Did you have anything in mind?
