the camp is disassembled and Magna makes to lead the way… until they arrive at the circle and see a squad of the king’s guard present, having just sunk a poleaxe into the druid that stood custodian over it.

she signaled oreo to be ready for a fight

Magna stepped forward to demand an explanation, the next moment she had to raise her shield to stop said axe from claiming the next victim.
 
and like that battle was joined, the kingsguard moving to surround them and use the reach of their weapons to wear your group down.

her knives began flying into necks, and then her sword cutting polearms below the blade when possible

the knives connect but it seems the polearms themselves had been reinforced against that technique.
 
magna helped by plainly charging into and breaking their formation, allowing oreo and her to pick them off before they recovered, in the end they would wind up with some bruises and cuts, but alive.

she pulls the dog up, his helmet bent onto his face so taking it off was not happening for now.

she quietly sighed as she turned away, wiping her blade clean and moving to retrieve knives

interpreting that as, finish him off, she stabs her harpoon through the eyehole, twists and pulls back out.

Ill mark out the southern ones on our map. That leaves only a few. Search this one for the wyldstone, but dont touch it.

she came forward to retrieve it

she could feel it, the stone had bonded, it was hers. and good thing it shrunk when it did that because it was big enough to sit on normally.
