“they are kept save by druids, sometimes they crystallize in the old menhir circles, if you have the rot in you those would see you keel over though.”

Ive stayed well clear of rot. No sense in going crazy.

“the rot can drive you to madness, yes, it certainly encourages doing horrible things, but it is more about brutality and cruelty, the king’s old self probably tries to resist, that’s why he goes mad. a murderer and butcher would probably hardly feel the difference, except pain from sunlight and getting rewarded for his terrible deeds, bloodshed and all related debauchery, would strengthen the rot in them, and in turn see them healed by the blood spilled.”

Is there a way to kill rot infected individuals normally?

by now she had gotten a better look bears were stocky by default but now many had a walking stick that was a double ended Mace. this was Brun the Oaken Warrior, she had met one of the few members of the clan that could fight quite well.
 
“when the need arises we will ddo what we must. you should see about getting a Wyld talisman for yourself though, if you face the rot’s vessels it is the best way to keep the stain off of yourself.”
